He is recognised as one of the most famous martial artists of the last centuries, celebrated for his unmatched mastery of fighting skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his prowess in martial arts, culminating in his development of Da Cheng Chuan, The Great Achievement, Grandmaster Wang Xiang Zhai&nbsp;is also known for applying Zhan&nbsp;Zhuang to health preservation and healing. He is&nbsp;the founder of the first Chi Kung hospitals in China.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-08f6d892 gb-container-post-container-content\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-3b18f22b gb-headline-text\">Professor Yu Yong&nbsp;Nian<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-b7984845 gb-container-image-wrapper\">\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"643\" src=\"http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Professor-Yu-Yong-Nian-cpr.webp\" alt=\"Professor Yu Yong Nian\" class=\"wp-image-30732\" style=\"object-fit:cover\" srcset=\"http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Professor-Yu-Yong-Nian-cpr.webp 900w, http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Professor-Yu-Yong-Nian-cpr-300x214.webp 300w, http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Professor-Yu-Yong-Nian-cpr-768x549.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>For many years, Professor Yu was head of the Da Chuan style of Zhan Zhuang Chi Kung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Professor Yu Yong Nian was one of the most important students of Grandmaster Wang Xiang Zhai and began his training with him in 1944.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He received many honorable awards and was adviser to the American Chinese Chi Kung Association and Honorary Member of the Council of the Association of Chi Kung Science of the People&#8217;s Republic of China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1953, Professor Yu introduced Zhan Zhuang as a method for treating chronic diseases at several hospitals in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the great success of using Zhan Zhuang for therapy, he had been asked to write the first treatise on Zhan Zhuang for hospitals in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His first book was published in 1982 and has sold over 500,000 copies.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-8fec1e2e gb-container-post-container-content\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-004939a2 gb-headline-text\">Master Lam Kam&nbsp;Chuen<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-04c18edd gb-container-image-wrapper\">\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"737\" src=\"http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Way-of-Power-Book-cpr.webp\" alt=\"Master Lam on the cover of his book &quot;The Way of Power&quot;\" class=\"wp-image-30739\" style=\"width:500px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Way-of-Power-Book-cpr.webp 900w, http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Way-of-Power-Book-cpr-300x246.webp 300w, http:\/\/chi-gong.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/Way-of-Power-Book-cpr-768x629.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Master Lam Kam Chuen has learned Zhan Zhuang directly from Professor Yu and introduced Zhan Zhuang to the West in&nbsp;1987.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1991, his ground-breaking book &#8220;The Way of Energy&#8221;, the first in a series of books from Master Lam, was released and became the best selling title of the publishing house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1995, Master Lam&#8217;s video &#8220;Stand Still &#8211; Be Fit !&#8221;, the very first video on Zhan Zhuang, was shown on Channel4 in the UK.
